Packages offered here are from source with no alterations to the code. These are intended for Slackware 13.0

LyX Document Processor version 1.6.4. On first run this may pop up an error, simply go to tools -> reconfigure, and the error will magically disappear.

Packages for Slackware 12.2

Packages offered here are from source with no alterations to the code. These are intended for Slackware 12.2

Wine 1.1.15

Wine Is Not an Emulator

Useful for running Windows based programs on Slackware 12.2

Scribus 1.3.3.12

Scribus is a desktop publishing package. Useful for making flyers and advertising or marketing documents

wxWidgets 2.8.9

Useful when making things that require it.

LyX 1.6.1

LyX is a document processor. It's not a word processor, it's a document processor. It's not little or yellow, but it's different and definitely good.

Audacity 1.2.6

Audacity is one of my favourite audio toys.

wxWindows 2.4.2

This is the latest stable release of Audacity compiled with the--with-soundtouch option, and the required older version of wxWindows. It may work without this version of wxWindows but since it was a prerequisite for compilation I cant say for sure. Feedback is always appreciated.

Links 2.2

This version of links has been compiled with graphics enabled. Even works in X which was a pleasant surprise to me. I didn't know text based browsers could grow so quickly.... makes me all misty....

Mplayer and codecs

Mplayer snapshot from March 7th, 2009. The codecs in my installation are located in /usr/local/lib/codecs, but the ones in this package are in /usr/lib/codecs. While this package was created on vanilla Slack 12.2 from the stock source code from mplayerhq.hu, it is UNTESTED. If someone out there downloads this and uses it, please drop me a not to tell me what works and what doesn't. Updates will be posted here.
